Our call for innovation was answered by more than 13,000 startups from 186 countries, resulting in a global portfolio of 191 ventures funded in 92 countries. Locally, our initiatives targeted 2,000+ university students across the UAE, stimulating creativity and supporting 59 grassroots solutions.

Taking forward its mission to advance innovative ideas that benefit people and the planet, Expo City Dubai Authority has launched a non-profit foundation to build on the success of Expo Live, the pioneering and impactful global innovation and partnership programme initiated under Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Expo City Dubai Foundation (ECDF) is a non-profit organization established by Expo City Dubai Authority to bridge the gap between people, ideas and resources in pursuit of a fair, sustainable and inspiring future.
The foundation inherits Expo Live’s remarkable journey and builds upon its legacy of innovation and partnerships that deliver positive social, economic and environmental change. A legacy that, to date, has generated a positive impact in the lives of almost 6 million people worldwide through in addition to bringing together hundreds of innovators, creating a community of 191 Global Innovators who are bold and ambitious, who match purpose with profit, care with commerciality.
HOW WE WORK
We provide funding, resources, and strategic support to social entrepreneurs, enabling them to develop and scale impactful solutions. Working closely with like-minded organizations, we identify meaningful opportunities to accelerate positive change. Through collaboration and innovation, we help drive transformative solutions that address the most pressing challenges faced by communities in need.
